Audemars Piguet, one of the best luxury watch brands, is commemorating the Royal Oak Offshore’s 30th anniversary with new timepieces. After launching the Black Ceramic Chrono ref. 26238, the Swiss brand introduces the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph ref. 26420CE. This limited edition of 500 pieces, a black ceramic model, pays tribute to the first special edition ref. 25770SN, released in 1999 for Arnold Schwarzenegger’s film “End of Days”. The actor’s role in the movie boosted the Offshore’s success.
The new model, inspired by the 1999 edition, features a 43 mm x 14.4 mm black ceramic case with titanium details and stainless steel screws. Weighing only 103 grams, it has a water resistance up to 100 meters.
The black dial showcases yellow accents, a Mega Tapisserie pattern, and a gold AP logo. The watch houses a Calibre 4401 with a 70-hour power reserve and comes with a black calfskin strap and an interchangeable yellow strap.
The price for the new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph “End of Days” Limited Edition ref. 26420CE.OO.A005VE.01 is available on request, with an expected price around €59,000 / $60,300. Also be sure to check a list of the most expensive watches ever.
