Bulgari’s latest addition to the Octo Finissimo collection is the Octo Finissimo Skeleton 8 Days , an elegant timepiece housed in a precious pink gold case and powered by a sculptural Manufacture movement boasting an impressive 8-day power reserve.
Playing on the contrast between its octagonal geometry and the round shape of its bezel, the case of this model has a diameter of 40 mm and a total height of 5.95 mm. Its architectural lines are well highlighted by the alternation of satin-brushed and polished surfaces. The gold crown is embellished by a black ceramic insert.
With the new hand-wound manufacture calibre BVL 199 SK, Bulgari has – once again – created a real watchmaking feat offering an exceptional autonomy of 192 hours in an ultra-thin skeletonised movement that is just 2.5 mm thick. The power reserve is displayed by means of a gauge-shaped indicator that embraces the curvature of the small seconds counter at 7:30.
Beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz), the movement has a sand-blasted matte anthracite structure that makes the gold-coloured hands and hour markers stand out beautifully.
Matched to a brown alligator leather strap with a gold pin buckle and water resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet, the new Bulgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton 8 Days ref. 103667 has a price of CHF 36,200.
