Honda is set to rekindle the magic of the 1980s with the Motocompacto, a modern, all-electric reincarnation of the iconic Motocompo folding scooter. The Motocompacto is a marvel of compact design, resembling a carry-on suitcase when folded and weighing just 41.3 lbs. Despite its small size, it’s a robust urban mobility solution with a weight capacity of 265 lbs.
On a single charge, the scooter can travel up to 12 miles and reach a top speed of 15 mph. Charging is quick and convenient, taking only 3.5 hours to reach full battery. The scooter’s peak output of 490 watts ensures it can handle the demands of city travel with ease.
Adding a layer of modernity, the Motocompacto features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to link the scooter to a smartphone app for additional customization options. Priced at $995, the Motocompacto will be available this November through Honda and Acura dealerships. Meanwhile be sure to check 10 smallest electric mini bikes.
