Australian company Bruder, known for creating some of the most robust campers, has recently unveiled the EXP-7. This new model fits into the company’s lineup just below the flagship EXP-8 and above the popular EXP-6. The EXP-7 is designed to offer both luxury and functionality, capable of tackling a variety of climates with its unique features.
Weighing in at 5,950 pounds and stretching 23 feet in length, the EXP-7 stands out with its exceptional design. It offers a choice between two styles: the PT with a pop-up roof and the GT with a fixed roof. The pop-up roof of the EXP-7 PT not only facilitates lower towing and storage height but also supports a significant 1,245 watts of solar cells. These cells charge a 10kWh battery system, powering features such as a versatile sliding kitchenette that can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The GT model is tailored for harsher climates with superior insulation and a fixed roof. It represents a blend of comfort and durability, ideal for adventurers seeking reliable protection against extreme conditions.
Bruder’s EXP-7 excels in integrating features from its siblings. It combines the luxury of the EXP-8 with the practicality of the EXP-6, creating a comfortable base camp for adventures at any time and place. Notably, the EXP-7 is about 15 cm longer than the EXP-8 and offers additional sleeping space, accommodating up to six people in the PT model and four in the GT model.
Key features of the EXP-7 include its rugged square-tube chassis and marine-grade body, which effectively reduce vibrations and enhance durability. The camper is equipped with Bruder’s patented air suspension system, which features remote-canister shocks at each wheel, enhancing both travel and leveling capabilities.
For culinary enthusiasts, the EXP-7 offers an exceptional cooking experience. It features a central pantry that opens outdoors, complete with a dual-burner induction cooktop, sink, and both indoor and outdoor refrigeration units. This setup ensures that whether cooking inside or outside, all essentials are within reach.
The interior of the EXP-7 is just as impressive, with a proper queen-size bed, sofa lounges, and a fully equipped bathroom that includes a composting toilet and both indoor and outdoor showers. The 200-liter fresh water tank ensures ample water supply.
On the technological front, the EXP-7 boasts a sophisticated electrical system that includes a 10.8-kWh lithium battery bank, a 3,000-W inverter, and comprehensive power management via a full touchscreen system.
Bruder has positioned the EXP-7 as a premium offering, with the PT model starting at US$160,250 and the GT model at US$165,500. Optional extras for the model include an outdoor shower tent, rear winch, advanced sound system, and additional water and battery capacity.
This launch marks a significant expansion in Bruder’s lineup, offering adventurers a new way to explore the outdoors in comfort and style. The availability of the EXP-7 on a global scale ensures that no matter where your adventures take you, a Bruder camper can be your reliable partner.
