Pagani is celebrating 30 years of building some of the world’s best-performing cars with a new model – Utopia. While six years of iteration went into the car design, it’s still immediately recognizable as a Pagani. Slightly more rounded edges combine to form a shape that looks to have evolved from the outgoing Huayra, with details like the swan neck mirrors and steampunk-esque carbon fiber HVAC tubes that arch over the dash. Inside are actual gauges with needles, including four across the dash, along with a center digital display for the driver.
The pièce de résistance however is the gated seven-speed manual shifter that rises from the center console like a masterpiece Italian sculpture. Buyers will have a choice between the seven-speed and the Huayra’s paddle-shifted twin-clutch transmission, mated to a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG V12. Power is rated at 852 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. The entire run of 99 cars has already been sold. Also don’t forget to check our list of the fastest cars in the world.
